Council resolved the following after taking into consideration all the submissions made on the issue of horses and dog exercise areas on the Kalbarri River Foreshore:

"Council prohibit horses from the town side river foreshore in accordance with the Shire's Local Government Property Local Law, 2017 other than for them to be waded across to the foreshore on the opposite side of the river."

As per the resolution horses can only be off loaded and walked to the water for them to be swam across the river where they can be exercised.  This will take effect immediately.
